The Traditional

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today...

The Traditional ceremony is the standard Judeo-Christian wedding that most of us think of when we think of a traditional American wedding ceremony. Complete with quotes from Corinthians, traditional vows (To have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, til death do us part.), the traditional exchanging of rings (I give you this ring as a symbol of our vows and a daily reminder of my love and devotion. With this ring, I thee wed.), and a non-denominational prayer.

The Modern

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen...

The Modern ceremony is an updated and more secular take on the Traditional ceremony. The bones of the ceremony are similar, but we've removed the speak now or forever hold your peace and the giving away of the bride. Also instead of quoting bible verses, the main address uses quotes from literature and famous authors on love and marriage. Many modern couples choose to write their own vows, or you can use our updated modern version, including promises such as I promise to love you for who you are now and who you are yet to become.

The Funny

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the merger of two DVD collections, as well as the formal joining of two hearts in holy matrimony...

Marriage is a serious occasion, but that doesn't mean that you can't have a little fun with it, too. The Funny ceremony is a lighthearted, yet still sweet, ceremony sprinkled with clean, family-friendly humor that will have you and your soon-to-be-spouse giggling through your wedding day tears. Prepare to change your Facebook status from “It’s Complicated” To “Married!”

The Practical

The Practical ceremony is for the pragmatic couple. You don’t believe in fate, happily ever afters, or the magical powers of love. Rather, you believe that healthy communication, equal partnership, and mutual respect for one another are the true foundation for a long-lasting marriage. You want a wedding ceremony that reflects your realistic commitment to marriage over the sugary prose and flowery promises found in more traditional wedding ceremonies.

The Bohemian

Whether you are an honest to goodness hippy, or just a hippy at heart, if you imagine getting married barefoot with flowers in your hair, The Bohemian might just be your dream wedding ceremony. Taking inspiration from poetry, literature, and music, this slightly unconventional ceremony celebrates nature, spirituality, and of course, love! Perfect for weddings in the woods! Pairs great with a handfasting ceremony!

The Happily Ever After

Some loves just feel like a fairy tale. The Happily Ever After is a Disney inspired wedding ceremony that uses quotes from your favorite Disney characters to craft a tale as old as time, true as it can be wherein two people meet, fall in love, and then start a new chapter of their life together by joining in marriage and opening a whole new world with new horizons to pursue. This ceremony is perfect for the young at heart who believe in true love and happily ever after.

The Magical

Though The Magical ceremony was heavily inspired by J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, it doesn't take a Potterhead to appreciate the sentiments expressed. Woven with memorable quotes from both the books and the movies, the ceremony is a subtle and tasteful nod to the series, with a focus on the almost magical powers of love. If you are ready to solemnly swear to stay with your beloved until the very end, this could be the perfect ceremony for you!

The Mystical

Do you consider yourselves spiritual but not religious? Do you believe in not just love until death do us apart, but in an everlasting love? Then this wedding ceremony is for you. Couples who choose The Mystical believe our loved ones never leave us, even when they are physically gone from this world. They believe their love can form a bond that even death won’t break. And they promise to love their partner in this life and for all eternity.

The Love Me Tender

Have you always dreamed of being married by The King, but a trip to Las Vegas just isn’t in the cards right now? Don’t get all shook up! The Love Me Tender ceremony incorporates lyrics by the Tennessee Troubadour that will transport you momentarily from the land of corn and soybeans to the city of neon and night clubs. For an additional $100 fee, the ol’ Hound Dog himself will walk you down the aisle. Impersonator option is subject to availability.

Ye Olde Wedding Ceremony

Hark! The Ye Olde Wedding Ceremony is for the playful pair who revel in the pageantry and revelry of a traditional Renaissance faire. Harkening back to a time when men were lords, women were ladies, and chivalry and merriment reigned supreme, this ceremony is penned in the language of the king and dedicated to the glory of the queen. Borrowing verses from renowned bards of the time, it provides a tapestry of eloquence on which to begin a splendid matrimonial celebration. Huzzah!

The Second Time Around

It has been said that Love is sweeter the second time around. This ceremony is for those couples who have experienced love and loss before, be it through divorce or death of a spouse. Often older and wiser, these couples have a unique appreciation for their love and what it means to commit to one another through marriage. The ceremony celebrates the rebirth of love and is perfect for pairing with a family commitment ceremony that includes children.

The Renewal

Whether you have been married for 5 years or 50 years, it is always the perfect time to celebrate the commitments you made on your wedding day, as well as the dedication you have shown to those commitments every day of your married life. Stand before your family and friends to demonstrate that your promises are just as true today as they were when they were first made, and show your partner that if given the chance you would gladly choose to marry them again.
